i went to a REPUTABLE pet store who i was freinds with the owner, then i saw the mice for sale. so i thoght id get one.(dont you people dare tell me that i should have got two, the only reason i didnt was because my parents wount let me)
heres the problem.
the mouse is very young, im not sure how old it is ,but its :
-its about and and inch and a half long
-has ALL its fur
-responisive like its grown
-cute as a button

it eats some of my hamster food
but i have tryed to make it eat mouse food and it just wount eat it! its so small i dont think its strong enough to eat the lab blocks tho. :\
what should i feed it?
ive heard hamster food will make it fat.

Do these products work? I’d obviously like to take care of my pups teeth, she has dental chews she gets a couple times a week…do I need to supplement that with toothbrushing as well?
Geez…my vet never told me any of the stuff you guys are…I guess it’s time to find a new doggy Doc!

Vitamin D3 supplements for bearded dragons: how much do I give them?
Filed Under Natural Pet Suppliments | 2 Comments
I’m preparing to care for a bearded dragon, I’ve been doing research for something close to two years, so this is no impulse.
I know bearded dragons make some of their own Vitamin D3 from UVB rays, but my dragon will be spending his entire life indoors (unless I decide to take him outside but that won’t happen until he’s an adult, and even then probably just one or two times a year). So even a UVB light might not provide the dragon with all the D3 he needs.
There are D3 supplements, but too much of the vitamin can be toxic, so how much do I use? Do I coat crickets in vitamin D3 dust along with the calcium supplement with every feeding? Or just once a day?

Pet rat getting a little thin? Feeding supplements?
Filed Under Natural Pet Suppliments | 7 Comments
My roomie’s rat is looking a bit thin recently. She lives with another rat and I’ve seen them both eating together so I don’t think it’s the dominant rat keeping her from the food. But she has been growing at a very fast rate into a jumbo rat, so maybe that has something to do with it.
Anyway, she is getting some kind of rat-mix from Petco for food. I’m sorry, I’m not sure on the brand. She hasn’t been getting lab-blocks lately so maybe that has to do with it? Anyway, what can I supplement her food with for optimal health?
She gets a bit of fresh veggies/fresh fruit whenever we are cooking and she always has food available. She doesn’t get treats very often. Maybe she should have more healthy treats? Maybe she needs fresh veggies every day? I guess then I’m wondering if there is any food rats are allergic to or shouldn’t have?
Thanks for your help!

My puppy, a min pin just ate a chromium 200 mcg supplement, which would be an adult dose and I want to see what I should do…
