She has spent a fortune on veterinary bills. They have given all sort of antibiotics and advice and done exploratory surgery only to find NOTHING.
Desparately need to find a safe measure of some type of cranberry that we can get into a picky Dachshound. I have seen a powder sold “on-line” but do not see instructions on giving this to a dog. (I can not imagine getting a powder down my throat let alone a dogs)
This dog takes regular over the counter benadryl capsules three times a day. Is there a safe level (mg’s) of cranberry for a dog? How and where would I find out if the different vets have not even thought of this.
The product I found on-line is a veterinary product… it says it is for dogs. It says how much to give.. JUST NOT HOW to give. I could get a pill down a dogs throat but how do you administer powder? And mixing it with water??? The dog isn’t going to take that either.

Ok, I have a 9 year old lab and as the summer rolls around she’ll be in the water non-stop. So I’m looking at some joint supplements because I’m a firm believer in the preventative maintenance plan that’s why I switched her from Iams to Evo (Btw, she has been doing really good on Evo, I recommend it to everyone!)

Anyways, I usually order my stuff from Dr. Foster & Smith because I’ve been using them for years great service, etc, etc etc. However now I’m doing some research on Dog Supplements specifically targeting mobility and I have found a product but I don’t see it on their site or any other pet retail store I visit (thatpetplace.com, petsmart.com, dog.com, etc).

From the Guaranteed Analysis it looks like a quality supplement, but I hear Missing Link is really good stuff as well (my neighbor uses it on their goldie). So my question in two parts. 1. Has anyone heard of Fit Dog Flex-tra 2. What amount of mg per ingredient should I be looking for?
Thanks I’ll check those guys out. What I’m trying to do is compare the active ingredients but I’ll admit, I get a bit lost sometimes with some of these products trying to do the math to figure out how much my dog will be getting of it.

Why do they have to make it so confusing!
To Vet Tech and Golden Gal…here’s a link to this Flextra one, let me know what you think. I’m in the process of doing the math for the links you guys gave me :-)

I have a new product I am developing, and want to know if I need to patent the ingredients or copyright them?

I have searched the market and there is nothing like my product out there. I don’t want a bigger corp. taking my ingredients and making their own product with the work that I have done.

Thanks for the help.

I’ve got one pet rat (her littermate died… so we’re waiting a couple weeks to get another one just in case it was something infectious) but soon will have 2. I was talking to one of my friends who also has them and she said that her vet told her to give them (they’re both females as are mine) a few pieces of puppy or kitten food daily as a protien supplement. has anyone else heard of this, is it good for them, and if so is it better to use kitten or puppy? thanks so much!

my cat Lucy is 19 and I thought Id supplement her with liquid vitamins, they have this bottled vitamin at the vet.. in case she ever gets worse and possibly gets diabetes as a result of her BUN and creatinine and other levels, would this elixir pose problems?? It smells sweet. Thanks and please give details.
