I have a three year old pitbull that was diagnosed with cancer on Feb 18th after she went in at 2:00am for emergency surgery. They gave her 19-45 days to live. Since then I have been trying every remedy possible to save her. From an all natural diet to vitamins and supplements. Today she became ill with vomiting and was taken into the vets office. They couldn’t tell exactly what was going on with her, only that she has an infection. So I have come to understand that she will soon be leaving me. Should I give up on the vitamins and meals that she is not so crazy about? I know that she prefers her kibble but I am just wondering if I stop trying to help her am I giving up? I have researched the disease and only found one success story. Just wondering pet owners what would you do in my situation?

   You will know when its time i only say that cause i lost a dog 5 years ago to doggie vd and heartworms, sadly we had to put him down cause one morning he just didn;t want to walk or play or anything, he would have been 17 years old today

   The intolerable pain and things will more than he or she had to sound like the voice of doom but know didnt make my friend suffer humans with at most month and even if your treatments helped her live that she had to have consider exactly whats.

   I think you should concentrate on enjoying your last days together. I lost my dog about 11 years ago but i still miss him but i knew it was time, so we played for two minutes, then he got tired so we just lay in the garden. And no you’re not giving up on her. As strange as it sounds, our pets never truly leave us, they’re always nearby, just in case.
